Isaiah 14:22-24

New International Version

²² “I will rise up^(A) against them,”
    declares the Lord Almighty.
“I will wipe out Babylon’s name^(B) and survivors,
    her offspring and descendants,^(C)”
declares the Lord.
²³ “I will turn her into a place for owls^(D)
    and into swampland;
I will sweep her with the broom of destruction,^(E)”
    declares the Lord Almighty.^(F)

“Surely, as I have planned,^(H) so it will be,
    and as I have purposed, so it will happen.^(I)
